Garden Plate


Combining extreme lightness and visual transparency, Junya Ishigami continues his experimentation with deceptive design in Garden Plate. The low table acts as an evocative, out-of-scale home garden. Through ishigami’s artistic approach to his designs throughout his career, he has helped to redefine the boundaries between art and architecture.

Curved plywood frame with digital prints


Curved plywood frame is a very popular choice these days. The ones from Ideal Form Team realised this and made a furniture collection that would use this idea along with some digital prints with rose, leaf, lace or tartan detail for a more special look.

Phantom Table – limited edition

A limited edition of an amazing design, only nine pieces were made. The Phantom Table is made out of carbon fiber and plastic and it seems like a floating table cloth. Producator: Stilwerk.

Kiki van Eijk at the Dutch Design Week 2010

Kiki van Eijk presented at the Dutch Design Week 2010 the “Floating Frames” made from brass wire and ceramic parts.  The clocks, candle holders and lamps were amazing .

Scroll chair


A minimal design inspired by the Chinese traditions regarding calligraphy was the winner of the 2010 Grand Prize of Designed of China. The curvy seat resembles the scroll that was used for painting and writing by the Chinese people. Designer: XU Gongwei.
