“Briccole Venezia” wood table

The three-meter long “Briccole Venezia” by the Milan designer Matteo Thun is made of two equal boards that have an old recycled look. Their insides were added flush to show the two most porous and the surface of the shells pages decomposed to the outside.  The table will thus acquire an irregular, meandering contour that continues on the inside of the table – where the two boards meet. The fact that each pile was eroded different way up, buy each of the tables is unique.
