Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011- Mosaiik lounge chair

Mosaiik lounge chair is one of the launched products during the Stockholm Furniture Festival 2011, which takes place at present. The inspiration for this design came from nature, from sunflower seeds and how they are positioned.

On a metal substrate with a grid structure 297 foam cubes, coated with wool wew placed in a mosaic pattern, for a soft and smooth surface. The back side was left uncovered so that the manufacturing process to be better understood.
Mosaiik lounge chair has a modern appearance through the colorful design and the metal frame, but also a warm and welcoming style. The chair is made by the swedish designer Annika Goransson.

Phantom Table – limited edition

Kiki van Eijk at the Dutch Design Week 2010

Kiki van Eijk presented at the Dutch Design Week 2010 the “Floating Frames” made from brass wire and ceramic parts. The clocks, candle holders and lamps were amazing .

Scroll chair

A minimal design inspired by the Chinese traditions regarding calligraphy was the winner of the 2010 Grand Prize of Designed of China. The curvy seat resembles the scroll that was used for painting and writing by the Chinese people. Designer: XU Gongwei.
